Since that time he has played with artists such as Jerry Lewis, The Commodores, Bad Ass Brass, PowerHouse Boogie Band, Little Flock Brass Quartet, The Brass Company, Aretha Franklin, The Louisville Orchestra, Cosa Seria Latin Band, The Don Krekel Orchestra, Music Theatre of Louisville, Higher Power, V-Groove, BoogieJuice, The Louisville Orchestra Brass Quintet, TimbaSon, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr, The Hot Lipzz Big Band, The Velcro Pygmies, and many more. He received his education at University of Louisville and Indiana University. Ryan is an active freelance musician all over the Southeastern United States. He regularly performs in Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas. His music has allowed him to perform many places throughout the globe including the United States, Mexico, Canada, Denmark, U.S. and British V.I., Barbados, Italy, England, Dominica, Norway, France, Poland, Germany, Finland, Estonia, Portugal, Spain, and Russia. Whatever musical style is called for Ryan approaches with confidence and grace. His playing has been cited as "....incredibly powerful." "His sound is as big as a house."
